* The Town of Winfield also employs part-time Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical Inspectors who can produce proper Town identification upon request.

 

IMPORTANT: If you are hiring any contractors to complete work on your property, they should be licensed and registered with the Town of Winfield, PRIOR to submitting the permit and/or starting any work.

 

Permits are required for the following: 

Concrete work, deck, shed, garage, pool/hot tub, generators, solar arrays, maintenance (roof/siding/windows/decks), new home, remodeling/basement finishes/additions, electrical/reconnect, HVAC, demolition, underground electric, or gas line for BBQ or fire pit (fire pits need to be a minimum of 15’ from rear or home)

 

Working Hours:

All work on the construction, alteration, and repair of building, structures, or other location improvements shall be performed during the following times: 

  • March thru October: Monday thru Friday, 7 am to 7 pm 
  • November thru February: Monday thru Friday, 7 am to 5 pm 
  • All year: Saturdays 9 am to 3 pm NO work to be performed on Sunday and Holidays 

No street may be blocked by contractor/personal vehicles, under any circumstances, and must allow for emergency vehicles (fire truck, ambulance, etc.) and/or school buses to be able to pass at all times.

 

Town Boundaries: 

North to South Boundaries: 101st Avenue to 129th Avenue 

East to West Boundaries: County Line Road to Colorado Street
