Safe Exchange Zone

As a courtesy for our residents of the Town of Winfield, Indiana, we now have 2 designated "Safe Exchange Zone" parking spaces. They are in the Police Department parking lot at 10688 Randolph Street. The spaces are for anyone who wants a safe, monitored environment to meet up for e-commerce transactions (such as Facebook Marketplace) or child custody transfers. The area is under 24-hour surveillance, but we suggest meeting up during daylight hours. If you have an emergency, you can dial 911, or use the red phone in the Police Department lobby (open 24-hours) to reach an officer on duty.Stay alert and stay safe!
