Deadline to apply to HOST a TRUNK or be a TEAL PUMPKIN SPONSOR is Monday, October 12th!

 

 

If you are a business or organization and would like to apply to be a HOST TRUNK, please complete the form below by Monday, October 12th. After you apply, you will receive an email within 3-5 business days letting you know if you are APPROVED to Host a trunk and will be given more details.

 

 

 

To be a TEAL PUMPKIN SPONSOR for 2026, please complete and submit the HOST form and make sure to check the SPONOSR box. You do not need to be a HOST Trunk to be a SPONSOR.

 

 

To make sure all children can enjoy this event, even if they have food allergies or have other reasons they cannot have candy, the Town of Winfield is participating in the TEAL PUMPKIN PROJECT (click here for details). 
TEAL PUMPKIN SPONSORS will provide either $200 to put toward non-food treats or they will provide non-food treats (labeled with their business name/logo if desired) valued at over $200. SPONSORS will be listed in signage at the event and on our website and Facebook page.

Please make sure to check the appropriate box:

TEAL PUMPKIN SPONSORS will either submit a payment of $200 by check made payable to "Town of Winfield" OR provide individual NON-FOOD treats valued at $200 or above. You are welcome to include a sticker with your business name on the provided treats. 

TEAL PUMPKIN SPONSORS will be included on signage online and at the event. Your treats will be distributed in a TEAL bucket to all Host Trunks so that there is a non-food option at every stop for children that have food allergies.

2026 HOST TRUNK OR SPONSOR INFORMATION

HOST TRUNK POLICIES FOR 2026

  • All HOST Trunks must be APPROVED by Event Coordinator. Submitting an application is not considered approval. After submitting your application, you will be contacted by EMAIL from the Event Coordinator. If you are APPROVED to be a HOST Trunk, you will be given further instructions for setup, etc.
  • Each HOST Trunk to provide a minimum of treats for 500 children (additional informational flyers, etc. can be handed to parents). The Town will supplement your treats if the event draws more than 500 children.
  • Only pre-packaged candy, treats or individual non-food items are approved. Any other items must be specifically authorized by the Event Coordinator before getting approval to Host a Trunk.
  • NO electric is available and NO gas generators are allowed at Randolph Street Park. Solar or Battery-operated generators are allowed.
  • Host trunks will have an approximate space of 10' x 15'. If larger accommodations are needed, contact the Event Coordinator. In addition to a vehicle (or tent) you should supply your own table and chairs if needed.
  • Trunk decorations should be kid-friendly and appropriate for small children. If decor is considered inappropriate, you may be asked to take it down or leave the event.
  • Keep the Trunk-or-Treat Trail line moving. Do NOT hold up the line by having games or raffles at your space. Just hand out treats so the line can move quickly.
  • Any photography taken during the event can be used by the Town of Winfield for promotional purposes
  • DEADLINE TO APPLY AS A HOST TRUNK IS MONDAY, OCTOBER 12. If you submit an application without a theme, please make sure to email your theme by Monday, October 12th..

 

I have read and agree to the policies and procedures and would like to be considered to be a HOST TRUNK for the 2026 Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 24 from 3-5 pm at Randolph Street Park (11900 Randolph Street, Winfield).
