The Town of Winfield has a Community Clean Up Day in the Spring and Fall each year. Residents of the Town of Winfield, Winfield Township and Lakes of the Four Seasons have access to dumpsters, electronic recycling and paper shredding at no charge. This event is for RESIDENTS only, not commercial businesses or large organizations.
Please read rules below and see the ONE-WAY drive through directions and list of acceptable/non-acceptable items before heading to the event.
The FALL CLEANUP DAY is SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2026.
DRIVE THROUGH EVENT
- Please ENTER from Randolph Place and proceed to the 1st table for directions and to drop off any donations.
- Keep traffic flowing in ONE DIRECTION (see map below)
- Please EXIT through the Winfield Family Health Center to get back to Randolph Street
SHREDDING
- For PERSONAL papers with a limit of 3 paper grocery bags OR banker's boxes per person. Business shredding will not be allowed.
- Paper clips and staples are ok.
- No metal batteries, electronics, or other non-paper material can be included in boxes or bags that contain papers to be shredded.
- Shredding is done ON-SITE
DUMPSTERS
- For RESIDENTIAL debris only, NO construction materials.
- If you have larger items, please bring someone to help you in putting the items in dumpsters, as there may not be staff present to assist you.
DONATIONS
- Accepting food donations for people and pets! Also accepting monetary donations. Current need is for PAPER PRODUCTS - such as toilet paper and paper towels.
- Please make sure donated items are non-perishable and not expired.
ELECTRONIC RECYCLING
Please keep traffic flowing in ONE DIRECTION so it is easier to unload items.
