Winfield Community Spring Clean Up Day is April 25

The Town of Winfield has a Community Clean Up Day in the Spring and Fall each year. Residents of the Town of Winfield, Winfield Township and Lakes of the Four Seasons have access to dumpsters, electronic recycling and paper shredding at no charge (see details of each below). Donations to the local food pantry are also being accepted at this event.
The 2026 SPRING Clean Up Day is April 25, 2026 and the FALL Clean Up Day is October 10, 2026. Both are held in the back parking lot of the Winfield Government Center (10645 Randolph St) from 9am to 12 noon.
Please read rules below and see list of acceptable items before heading to the event.
SHREDDING
- For PERSONAL papers with a limit of 3 paper grocery bags OR banker's boxes per person. Business shredding will not be allowed.
- Paper clips and staples are ok.
- No metal batteries, electronics, or other non-paper material can be included in boxes or bags that contain papers to be shredded.
- Shredding is done ON-SITE
DUMPSTERS
- For RESIDENTIAL debris only, NO construction materials.
- If you have larger items, please bring someone to help you in putting the items in dumpsters, as there may not be staff present to assist you.
DONATIONS
- Accepting food donations for people and pets! Also accepting monetary donations. Current need is for PAPER PRODUCTS - such as toilet paper and paper towels.
- Please make sure donated items are non-perishable and not expired.
Please keep traffic flowing in ONE DIRECTION so it is easier to unload items.
